Assemblyman Bob Reilly, D-Newtonville, said his top three priorities as the session quickly comes to an end are school tax relief, campaign finance reform and several individually-sponsored bills including legislation for a one-time corrective tax for the Town of Coloniem, and an identification system for all New York State farm animals.
We have, I believe, about three weeks left in the session. I’m sitting here with 149 other Assembly people and they all have the same problems I have, individual bills that they want passed, said Reilly.
Reilly said he knows not all of his individually-sponsored bills will be passed, but he hopes that most of them will go forward before the end of session.
