About 60 Bethlehem residents attended a public hearing Wednesday, Jan. 24, to speak on the draft environmental impact statement for the proposed Vista Technology Park at Bethlehem Town Hall.
Most spoke in favor of the project, but many had concerns that ranged from environmental to traffic safety concerns.
I am just not sure this project meets the towns vision in their comprehensive plan, said Ed Kleinke.
Members of the New Scotland Town Board attended the session listening to a 45-minute presentation given by developers and consultants working on the project.
The Vista Park is expected to bring 4,000 new jobs over the span of 12 years.
Expected to push the project forward, a new Slingerlands bypass road has been proposed to ease traffic congestion along Route 85.
