A Slingerlands woman is one of three finalists competing for a chance to have her own 30-second commercial about Dove Cream Oil Body Wash played during a break in the telecast of the 79th Annual Academy Awards in February.
Arielle Worona received a top rating out of 700 entries submitted to the makers of Dove products. The three finalists will receive an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles the weekend of the awards on Feb. 25, plus tickets to a private viewing party. Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez who plays Dr. Callie Torres will announce the three finalists on Jan. 31.
Company officials said the new Dove commercial needs to best capture the essence of the product and the brand’s real beauty philosophy.
