The play features the songs of Neil Sedaka. The show is at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield, Mass. Depart from AJCC at 9:30 a.m. and return at approximately 6:30 p.m. Lunch: select barbecue chicken or broiled scrod.
The cost is $97 for the general public and $90 for JCC members. A prepaid, non-refundable registration fee is due before the trip fills.
‘Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah!’
Sunday, Aug. 21
Come see the Allan Sherman musical at The Theater Barn in New Lebanon. A pizza lunch is included. Depart from AJCC at 10:50 a.m. and return at approximately 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $84 for the general public and $77 for JCC members. A prepaid, non-refundable registration fee is due before the trip fills.
Three-day bus trip getaway

June 7-9
Travelers depart Tuesday, June 7, from the AJCC at 8 a.m. and return Thursday, June 9, at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The cost for JCC members is $708 for a single occupancy room and $573 for a double occupancy room. The cost for the general public is $753 for a single occupant and $618 for a double occupancy room.
A prepaid, non-refundable reservation is required.

Albany JCC’s Massry Senior Center
The instructor is Lorraine Noval, PhD., a certified master trainer, Asian Arts Group, LLC. The suggested donation is $2.25 for people ages 60 and older. Those under 60 must pay the $2.25 at the senior adult office.
Basic Photography
Wednesdays, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Classes: April 6, 13 and 20; and May 4 and 11.
Instructor: Ed Fritz, photographer.
Cost: $63 general public, $48 JCC members
Prepaid nonrefundable registration required by March 13 or before class fills.
Each class includes instruction and photo taking. Classes are designed to be fun, interactive and hands-on, providing students with camera-use confidence and basic skills.
Book Dummy
Mondays, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Classes: April 11, 18 and 25; and May 2 and 9.
Instructor: Liz Zunon, children’s book illustrator.
Prerequisite: basic sketching skills.
Cost: $70 general public, $55 JCC members
Prepaid nonrefundable registration required before class fills.
Students will plot a children’s story into a 32-page format, standard for picture books, and walk away with a “book dummy” to keep and share or submit to publishers.
Silk Screen Art Clinic — Learn the Basics
Tuesdays, 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Classes: April 5 and 12
Instructor: Suzanna Van Schoonhoven Hunter, artist.
Cost: $58 general public, $43 JCC members.

Book Mavens book review
Wednesday, May 18, 3 to 4:30 p.m.
This month’s book is “The Jazz Palace” by Mary Morris. The reviewer is Irene Rosenthal, an associate professor of literacy at The College of Saint Rose in Albany.
Tribute to volunteers
Wednesday, May 25, 4 to 6 p.m.
The tribute features a performace of songs from the folk and singer-songwriter era (Peter, Paul & Mary; James Taylor; etc.) by Eric Erickson. A kosher chicken dinner follows the concert.
The cost is $13 per person, and prepaid reservations are required by May 2.
