I generally listen to WAMC. One of my favorite things to listen to is “StoryCorps.” I’m listening to (the audiobook) “Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap … and Others Don’t” by James Collins. I’m working on “Why We’re Here,” by Richard Harwood. The next book on my list is “Brown Girl Dreaming” by Jacqueline Woodson, which is a young adult book that got the National Book Award. I also devour the news. I loved “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” by Maria Semple, “The Good House” by Ann Leary, and “The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry” by Rachel Joyce. I like “Grey’s Anatomy,” but what I really love is “The Middle.” “The Theory of Everything” — I was not blown away by it. One of our favorite things to do every year is see the (Oscar nominated) animated shorts at the Spectrum. I’m an avid skier, sailor and reader.
Steak, with artichokes and a latte.
I read the Torah, and I think that I might like to meet Maimonides, who is one of our greatest scholars. Moving the library to its current building, which we did with volunteers — kids, organizations, the school gave us busses. The community moved the library and it was an awesome day. We got our current building in January of 1989. That I used to be a competitive springboard diver in my youth. What have you been listening to lately?
