Color Me Happy
A vibrant world of color awaits on Fri. Nov. 24 at 1:00 p.m. with the Color Happy! Kid’s Coloring Club. Children ages pre-K-grade 2, accompanied by a caregiver, are invited to explore a rainbow world of pencils, pens, markers, crayons, stickers, along with assortment of coloring pages. Fright Club: Christmas Carol
Read the book, then watch the movie! Register online, then pick up your Fright Club: “A Christmas Carol” discussion kit Nov. 27-Dec. 1. Each kit will include fun facts about the novel, discussion questions, a notebook to jot down your thoughts as you read, and a fun surprise. This is a passive, independent book club so you can read and work through the questions at your own pace. All are welcome to watch “The Muppet Christmas Carol” with us on Thurs. Dec. 28 at 6:00 p.m. (rated G).
Storytimes Return
After a brief pause, storytimes return for a new season of fun starting Tues. Nov. 28. Tuesdays are for toddlers (ages 18-36 months); Wednesdays are for families (ages infant-5), and Thursdays are for preschoolers (ages 2.5-5). All storytimes begin at 10:30. a.m. Please choose one storytime per week.

Virtual Art Talk: Jaune Quick-to-See Smith
On Tues. Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m., Janet Cohen Mandel showcases the artwork of Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Quick-to-See Smith’s work addresses the myths of her ancestors in the context of current issues facing Native Americans, drawing inspiration from Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, and Robert Rauschenberg, among others.
