Felony DWAI-drugs and a gun
LATHAM – On June 23 at approximately 10:40 a.m. State Police stopped a vehicle on Route 7 in Colonie for multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. The driver was identified as Stephen R. Pabon, 31, of Hudson.
Pabon was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. While being taken into custody, he was found to also illegally possess metal knuckles and additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.
Pabon was transported to SP Latham for processing, where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), and provided a sample to determine the drug content of his blood. Further investigation determined he has previously been convicted of a DWI in the last ten years.
He was charged with felony DWAI-Drugs and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.
Pabon was issued tickets returnable to the Colonie Town Court on July 12 and released to a sober third party.
Grand larceny at Colonie business
GUILDERLAND – On June 26, State Police of Latham arrested Nicole M. Lynch, 36, of Guilderland for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree.
On June 22, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Troopers received a complaint from a Colonie business reporting an employee had taken money belonging to the business without permission. The investigation determined Lynch began working for the company in a management role. Since May, Lynch reportedly falsified business records on multiple occasions resulting in the theft of over $9,000.
Lynch was arrested and charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records, both felonies. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Colonie Town Court on July 19.
Grand larceny from 2020
SCHENECTADY – A 35-year-old Schenectady woman was detained by Schenectady police and transported to Colonie on Monday, June 12 for an active warrant.
Diane Rogers was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records, both felonies, for an August 2020 incident at Restaurant Depot on Railroad Avenue.
Rogers was arraigned by Colonie Judge Andrew Sommers and released on her own recognizance.
Felony assault and criminal mischief
COLONIE – A Colonie man was arrested for an incident on Monday, June 12 for an incident that took place on North Street.
Colonie police charged Christopher Willis, 28, with criminal mischief – property damage and assault with intent to cause injury with a weapon, both felonies.
He was arraigned by Colonie Town Judge Andrew Sommers.

COLONIE – A man charged with felony burglary at Macy’s in March was arrested on Monday, June 12 for not showing up for court. Juan Acosta, 44, of Schenectady was brought to Colonie Town Court by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office and arraigned on the warrant.

COLONIE – On Monday, June 12, Colonie police responded to a domestic incident on Vermont View Drive and determined that a woman was wanted for not showing up for court in May.
Julia Bejarano, 38, of Colonie, was arrested and arraigned on the warrant in Colonie Town Court by judge David Green. Bejarano was then transported to State Police for an active warrant by that agency.

COLONIE – Green Island police detained Jamey Musto, 35, of Watervliet, on Monday, June 12 for not showing up for court in March. He was given an appearance ticket and released. Musto was due back in court on June 14.
Outside warrant
LATHAM – Colonie police responded to Price Chopper on Loudon Road on Sunday, June 11 for a domestic incident and found that one of the parties had an outstanding warrant. Police transported Andrew Rivera, 37, of Watervliet, to Glenville to meet officers.
Pair charged in stolen vehicle
LATHAM – Two people were charged with criminal possession of stolen property after a complaint of a stolen vehicle at the Target on Wade Road Extension on Sunday, June 11 at approximately 4:42 p.m.
According to reports, Kyle Stratton, 32, of Northumberland, and Courtney Lafayette, 29, who is homeless were both charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a felony. Stratton was also charged with false personation, a misdemeanor.
Both were arraigned by Colonie Town Judge David Green.

COLONIE – A Melrose man was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Sunday, June 11 after he was the subject of an incident in Watervliet. Mark Sitts, 41, did not show up for court in October and was given an appearance ticket and released.
Larceny and
multiple warrants
COLONIE – Colonie police responded to Macy’s at Colonie Center on Saturday, June 10 at approximately 1:03 p.m. for the report of a larceny.
After an investigation, Timothy Fletcher, 55, of Schenectady, was alleged to steal property worth $384. He was also found to be wanted by the town of Colonie and multiple other agencies on outstanding warrants.
He was charged with petit larceny and given an appearance ticket for Colonie Town Court and released. The other police agencies asked police to advise Fletcher to turn himself in.
Grand larceny
COLONIE – A Wynantskill man was charged with grand larceny at Macy’s on Friday, June 9 at approximately 9:28 p.m. by Colonie police.
James Greco, 47, was given an appearance ticket for the felony charge and released. The charge is not bail eligible. He was scheduled to return to Colonie Town Court on June 21.

COLONIE – Aimee Blake, 33, of Colonie, was taken into custody at her residence by Colonie police on Friday, June 9 for an outstanding warrant from Niskayuna. Blake was transported to meet officers from Niskayuna.
DWAI – drugs after accident
LATHAM – A Latham man was arrested in the parking lot of the Price Chopper on Loudon Road on Friday, June 9 at approximately 12:59 p.m. after he was involved in a property damage accident.
According to reports, officers observed that the 67-year-old driver had glassy eyes, slow and slurred speech, and was unable to keep his balance. He was given and failed field sobriety tests and tested negative for breath alcohol on a pre-screening device.
He was taken into custody and evaluated by a drug-recognition-experts from the Schenectady police department. The man was charged with DWAI-Drugs and released with an appearance ticket.
Fake name, real warrant
COLONIE – A homeless woman panhandling at the corner of Wolf Road and Central Avenue was found to have a 2019 outstanding warrant from the Town of Colonie on Friday, June 16 even though she gave police a false name.
Dakota Van Houten, 26, was charged with criminal impersonation, a misdemeanor, and the warrant. The woman was given an appearance ticket and released.

COLONIE – On Friday, June 16, a Cohoes woman was brought from the Albany County jail to face an outstanding warrant for missing court in December.
Alyssa Rogers, 34, was processed and given an appearance ticket for Colonie Town Court on June 21.
