COLONIE — Three people are under arrest for allegedly robbing the Up in Smoke store on Loudon Road on Oct. 3.

According to Lt. Robert Winn, two masked men entered the story at around 9:51 p.m. and ordered the clerk into the bathroom.
They then stole the clerk’s phone, the store phone and a bag containing about $450.
A short time later, witnesses contacted police about a suspicious vehicle in the area and who saw the subjects fleeing the scene.
The unoccupied vehicle, a 2013 Chevrolet Cruz, was located by Albany police on Western Avenue a few hours after the robbery and the investigation widened.
On Oct. 10, Ty-Jaan King, 24, of Albany, and Mackenzie Haynes, 22, of Saratoga, turned themselves in at the Colonie Police Department. Five days later, Jorge Colon, 23, of Altamont, did the same.

King threw the phones out of the window onto the I 87 ramp from Route 9 but the cash bag and money have not been recovered.
Haynes, the owner of the car, initially provided false information about her involvement and gave false information on the location of the suspects.
All three face felony robbery and misdemeanor petit larceny charges while King faces an additional felony of criminal mischief for throwing the phones out of the window and Haynes faces an additional misdemeanor of criminal nuisance for lying to police.
