COLONIE – Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect in a bank robbery
According to Sgt. George Thomaides, a man entered the NBT Bank at 703 Troy Schenectady Road on Friday, March 23, at around 11:39 a.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

The teller complied, and the suspect left the bank, heading south-west through the parking lot. He may have left the scene in a tan SUV that was seen in the area at the time of the incident, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male standing about 5-foot, 8 inches tall with a lean build. He has light complexion, was unshaven and was wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue camouflage hoodie-style jacket with an Under Armor brand emblem on the front and dark pants.
