Polls are open until 9 p.m. across the state, including in the Town of Colonie where incumbent Supervisor Paula Mahan, a Democrat, is running for a sixth term against Frank Mauriello, the Republican minority leader on the Albany County Legislature.

There are also three Town Board seats up for grabs. The Democratic candidates are incumbent Linda Murphy and newcomers Brian Austin and Melissa Jeffers Von Dollen. On the Republican ticket are incumbent David Green and newcomers Mark Mitchell and Christine Badger Mele.
