COLONIE – A 36-year-old Queens woman was arrested after she hit a dump truck near Exit 6 of the Northway on Saturday, Aug. 26.
After hitting the dump truck, Katrina C. Bodell, formerly of Ballston Spa, hit the guardrail and came to rest in west hand lane of the road., according to the State Police.
As troopers were checking on her well-being, they noticed an odor of marijuana coming from her car. A probable cause search found marijuana, edible marijuana and enough cocaine to warrant a felony charge.
She was charged with DWAI-drugs and possession of illegal drugs and transported to the Latham barracks and was slated for arraignment in Colonie town court.
