LATHAM — Niskayuna scored the winning goal in the third overtime to edge Shaker 3-2 Tuesday, Sept. 13, in a Suburban Council field hockey game.
The Silver Warriors (3-1) built a 2-0 halftime lead before the Blue Bison (1-3) rallied to tie the game on second-half goals from Mary Belskis and Kayleigh Papa.
Claire Skumurski scored two goals, and Christina Callahan added another for Niskayuna. Goaltender Emma Skumurski stopped 12 shots.
Kelsey Wells assisted on both Shaker goals, and goaltender Emily Polsinello had nine saves.
