COLONIE — Colonie police said Borziloke Zakolli, 62, of Colonie was pronounced dead at the scene after she was struck by two vehicles on Central Avenue Tuesday morning, May 24.
According to Colonie police, the accident took place in the two westbound lanes of Central Avenue, in the vicinity of Tull Drive, at 7:17 a.m. The first vehicle — a 2001 Subaru — struck Zakolli in the left lane, which threw her into the right lane, where she was struck by a 2014 Honda.
Police ruled out speed and alcohol with regard to the drivers. The Colonie Police Traffic Safety unit is continuing with the investigation.
