DELMAR – Bethlehem police arrested Brian Fogarty, 48, of Troy, on April 12 for allegedly setting fire to a Glenmont residence.
The fire took place on Quincy Court in September 2020.
Fogarty was charged with arson, criminal mischief, and reckless endangerment, all felonies, and providing a false written statement, a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court and sent to the Albany County Jail with no bail due to having two prior felony convictions. He is scheduled to return to court on May 3.
Assisting with the investigation was the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services – Office of Fire Prevention and Control.
