BETHLEHEM — A 67-year-old Delmar woman suffered a medical event which caused her to crash her car into the Delaware Plaza entrance sign at 180 Delaware Ave. in Delmar on Saturday, May 9 at 2:45 p.m., according to Bethlehem police.
The woman lost control of her 2018 Mazda 3 and the crash caused significant damage to her car and structural damage to the sign.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Delmar-Bethlehem EMS and Albany County Paramedics. She was then transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Bethlehem police, the Elsmere Fire Department and the Town of Bethlehem Building Department also responded to the scene.
