BETHLEHEM — National Grid is replacing a pole today between Glenmont and Beacon roads on Route 9W that was damaged from a motor vehicle crash last night, according to Bethlehem police.
As the above area has been closed to traffic, drivers are advised to use River Road or Route 144 as a detour. Also, tractor-trailer traffic traveling northbound on Route 9W from Coeymans should use Creble Road to Route 32 as a detour. Local commuters are advised to use Beacon, Wemple and River roads as detours too.
