DELMAR – A structure fire at 530 Sibley Place on Thursday, Nov. 30, was quickly extinguished by Delmar and Elsmere fire departments.
The call came in shortly before 7 p.m., according to Commander Adam Hornick, of the Bethlehem Police Department.
Upon arrival, crews were greeted with flames at the rear of the house and the attic.
The home is not habitable, and residents had to find alternative places to stay, but it does not appear to be a total loss.
The blaze has been ruled accidental. There were no injuries.
The Bethlehem Police Department Cause and Origin Team, the Delmar-Bethlehem EMS and Albany County Paramedics assisted.
