TROY — Rockin’ on the River at The Waterfront returns Wednesday, July 20 with a headling act from Super 400 at the Waterfront at River Street Market at 5:30 p.m.
The Collar City’s free summer concert series features a four-day, family-friendly outdoor concert series every other Wednesday, starting July 20 until Aug. 31 on the Waterfront at River Street Market.
“Whether for a special event or a one-day adventure, Troy is the place to be this summer,” said Geoff Brault, executive director of Downtown Troy Business Improvement District. “We’ve got music, art, culture, food, drink, great shopping, and a packed calendar of things to see and do. Whatever your vibe, now’s the time to rediscover our walkable, historic streets and enjoy Troy.”
The series continuously brings up to 5,000 music fans to downtown Troy, giving them a wonderful excuse to stay out on a Wednesday night and explore the Collar City.
Super 400 stands as one of the most loyally followed in the Northeast. But, their reputation as musicians goes well beyond the confines of the Capital District. Lori Friday, Kenny Hohman and Joe Daley have toured as the supporting band for British pop star Jaime Benson and American vocalist Mike Farris. Hohman has performed on Saturday Night Live as a member of Lenny Kravitz’s band.
Tommy Love will join the band to start the night out as Blue Machine
