TROY – As part of Catholic Central School’s Centennial year, the high school will host a celebration honoring actress Maureen Stapleton from the Class of 1942, inside the Maureen Stapleton Theater of Hudson Valley Community College, Saturday, March 9, 2 p.m. The event, hosted by Catholic Central graduate, Jackson Murphy, will include a short documentary by Stapleton’s son, Daniel Allentuck, along with video clips from her esteemed career from over 50 years. The theater lobby display will feature items from her work on Broadway, Hollywood and television, and will also include a panel discussion. Tickets to attend the celebration are free but due to limited seating, pre-registration for the event is highly encouraged and can be done on the Catholic Central School website, https://www.catholiccentralschool.org/centennial-year.
