ALBANY – After a four-year hiatus, Palace Sessions LIVE! made its return to the Palace Theatre through the joint teamwork of Frankie Cavone, owner of Mirth Films and Sean Allen, director of marketing at the music venue.
Over 200 tickets were reserved online by spectators who went to see The E-Block perform a set of original songs and a funky cover of “Fast Car” from Tracy Chapman Saturday, January 13.
Spectators made themselves comfortable to watch The E-Block perform, even grabbing seating at the main lobby stairway, watched the band from above the lobby at the balconies, and at the main lobby itself where the young band performed their music. Fans of the band and its funky, R&B, jazzy songs were seen dancing along to the music.
Mirth Films and Palace Theatre debuted the Palace Sessions live stream of The E-Block on the Palace Albany YouTube channel Tuesday, Jan. 23. Mirth Films also debuted the video of The E-Block performing their song, “Wake Up” on the same day as the release of the full live stream.
The two businesses will hold their next Palace Sessions LIVE! show in February. Stay tuned to Mirth Films and Palace Theatre for the show announcement on their websites and social media platforms.
