COLONIE – Colonie Central High School Parent Teacher Student Association hosted its annual craft fair for the 38th year on Saturday, Nov 19 at Colonie High School.
In addition to the craft fair they held a shoe drive in the front of the building to collect shoes not only help support the PTSA, but they will be reused and given a second life by those in need through #microenterprise. They collected 33 bags of shoes (25 pairs per bag) and their goal is 100!
“The Craft Fair was a huge success! It was super busy all day and our vendors experienced great success. Dollars for Scholars raised over $700 and the PTSA did really well selling concessions raffle tickets and 50-50. We were super grateful for all our student volunteers.” Says PTSA Recording Secretary Jen Houlihan.
