TROY — It was a star-studded evening featuring the Capital District’s greatest and long-standing musicians paying tribute to the late Buck Malen at The Hangar in Troy, Sunday, Dec. 18.
Featured artists included Super 400, Johnny Rabb & The Tichy Boys, Mac & Harrison, Lonesome Val and more.
The Hanger was full of friends and fellow musicians. Malen had been described as a man who helped keep the local music scene together during the ’80s and ’90s. He would often attend other band’s shows as a way of showing support. He would later host Blues Jam at Pauly’s Hotel in Albany for several years before passing the baton over to Scotty Mac. Mac was emcee for Sunday’s BuckStock.
