ALBANY — Legendary rock guitarist Warren Haynes leads Gov’t Mule back to Albany’s Palace Theatre on Oct. 29 as part of the band’s 2016 tour.
The group is touring in support of a new archival album called “The Tel-Star Sessions,” which features never-before-released demos made in 1994 at Tel-Star Studios in Bradenton, Fla., when the group was just a trio.
“In some ways, we’ve come full circle, and in other ways, it only makes sense if you step back and connect the dots. And that seems right to me. You want to keep growing, and you never want to be static or done changing,” said Haynes.
Tickets range in price from $32.50 to $55 and go on sale Friday, Aug. 12, at the Palace Theatre box office, 19 Clinton Ave. For more information, visit palacetheatre.com.
