Fans of different worldly delicacies will want to plan a pilgrimage to Saratoga Springs this Saturday for The Saratoga International Flavorfeast.
The Saratoga International Flavorfeast is a celebration of the worldly culinary styles, all of which available in Saratoga Springs. Feast on flavors from a variety of countries including France, China, Japan, Italy, Mexico and America, among others.
Flavorfeast returns to the Spa City for a second year on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., showcasing 32 restaurants from in and around Saratoga Springs.
Festival goers will find participating restaurants presenting from their local store fronts. Those establishments from outside Saratoga Springs will gather at the Fingerpaint Marketing parking lot.
The event is free to the public and samples cost just $1 each.
“I actually put on this event with my mom (Fran Dingeman) who’s an event coordinator (with Network Saratoga),” said Ashley Dingeman, founder of SaratogaFoodFanatic.com. “It was a concept we developed while sitting at the kitchen table talking about how many different ethnic restaurants we have in this area.”
2015 Saratoga International Flavorfeast participants include:
Saratoga Tea and Honey (India), Alaturco (Turkey), Harvey’s (Ireland), Maestro’s (Italy), Gaffney’s (Mexico), Bon Bon Brazil (Brazil), Pestwick Chase (America), Ravenous (France and Belgium), Park Side Eatery (Germany), Prime at Saratoga National (Germany), Savory Pantry/Hungry Spot (Italy), Three Vines Bistro (Italy), Henry Street Taproom (America),
Druthers (Mexico), Phila Fusion Noodle Bar (Vietnam, Korea, Thai, Chinese), Sushi Thai Garden (Thai & Japan).
The list also includes:

“Of course, with me so engulfed in the food world and with [my mother’s] knowledge of event planning, it was only natural for us to team up and pursue our idea of celebrating the diverse cultural cuisines by creating an international food festival,” said Dingeman.
Along with the food, the festival features live cultural entertainment throughout the day with a free trolley service between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to transport people to participating locations.
