Sedef Ishaque and Natalie Rumpelt each won a pair of individual events to lead the Shaker girls swim team to a season-opening 105-81 victory over Ballston Spa Wednesday, Sept. 9.
Ishaque finished first in the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly, while Rumpelt took first place in the 100 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. Alexa Hartwich added a victory in the 500 freestyle.
Emily Barno (200-yard freestyle), Emma Hoffman (200 individual medley) and Kristina Keefe (100 backstroke) earned victories for Ballston Spa.
