The Bethlehem girls volleyball team may have a long wait before playing again.
The Lady Eagles were in line to recerive the No. 2 seed in the Section II Class AA playoffs when seedings were announced Tuesday, Oct. 21. A No. 2 seed would give Bethlehem a bye into the semifinals, which won’t be played until Oct. 30.
Bethlehem finished the Suburban Council season with a 12-4 record and posted an overall mark of 14-5.
“I think we just have really good athletes on the team,” said Bethlehem coach Lisa Kniffen. “I have a lot of basketball and softball and track athletes, and I think we’ve found a really good fit this season.”
