The Bethlehem boys track and field team had no trouble sweeping Tuesday’s Suburban Council duel meet against Ballston Spa and Niskayuna.
The Eagles defeated Ballston Spa 120-57 and eased past Niskayuna 107-73. Niskayuna defeated Ballston Spa 112-66 to earn a split.
Ben Young led Bethlehem with victories in the 200-meter dash and the long jump. Young also ran the anchor leg on Bethlehem’s winning 400-meter relay team.
Jeremy Shuman (400), Steve Booker (800), Noah Bell (1,600) and Mike Grogan (400 intermediate hurdles) added individual victories on the track for the Eagles. Liam Martens (high jump), Luke Dutcher (pole vault), Brian Greenberg (triple jump), Frank Erikson (shot put) and Jacob Willey (discus) had wins in the field events.
