COLONIE — The Bison won their last game of the regular season by getting by cross town rival the Garnet Raiders 55-49 on Monday, Feb. 14.
Shaker is the No. 2 seed heading into post-season play and will square off against No. 7 seed Saratoga on Thursday, Feb. 24, at home.
Colonie is ranked No. 4 and will play No. 5 seed Columbia at Shenendehowa on Feb. 24.
Against Shaker, Colonie opened with a 13-2 run and led by seven after one and nine at the half. Shaker’s defense, though took control in the second half and tied it at 31 after three and outscored the Raiders 14-8 in the last for the final.
Shaker’s Kaelah led all scorers with 19 points while Emily Slatterday had 18.
Gabby Martin had 17 for Colonie while Macie Trimarchi had 11 and Jayla Tyler had 10.
