VOORHEESVILLE — The Lady Blackbirds got by the Indians in a Colonial Council matchup on Friday, Jan. 21, by a score of 58-51.
Eighth grader Mia Carmody led Voorheesville with 14 points while junior Reese Hoenig had 13, senior Teagan McGinn had nine and freshman Emily Thornton had eight. Freshman Hannah Woodworth had six and junior Isabela Carmody had five and junior Grace Reeve chipped in three points.
Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk junior Hannah Vanderzee led all scorers with 21 points while senior Molly McFerran had 11. Freshman Patricia Dorrance had eight, senior Lauren Reville had five, junior Sara Hotaling had four and freshman Kendall Bullock chipped in two.
Voorheesville will host Lansingburgh on Tuesday, Jan. 25 and RCS will play at Mechanicville on Monday, Jan. 24.
