SPOTTED: CBA beats Amsterdam, falls to Utica Proctor

COLONIE — CBA beat Amsterdam in its annual Holiday Basketball Tournament before falling to Utica Proctor in the finals.

The Brothers outscored Amsterdam 37-4 in the second half on the way to a 65-29 win.

Tyler Grimes had a game high 16 points for CBA (1-1, 3-3) while Vincent Tirino had 13 and Hagen Foley had 10. Six other Brothers scored points in the rout.

Cayden Gravely had a dozen to lead Amsterdam.

In the finals, Utica Proctor outscored CBA 32-25 in the second half and won the game 64-58. Foley had 20 points in the loss for CBA while Ayden Harrison had 10.

CBA will play at LaSalle on Friday, Jan. 3 and host Columbia on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
