SPOTTED: Colonie boys volleyball team’s season ends in quarterfinals

COLONIE — The Colonie High boys volleyball season came to an end in the Section II quarterfinals on Monday, Nov. 4.

The boys, the No. 4 seed, lost to the No. 5 seed Saratoga in straight sets 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.

Saratoga will play the No. 1 seed from Shen in the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Bethlehem, the No. 2 seed, will take on Columbia, the No. 3 seed, in the other semifinals match at Rensselaer High School.

The Section II finals will be on Friday, Nov. 8 at Rensselaer with a scheduled start time of 7 p.m.
