SPOTTED: Bethlehem boys get by Guilderland; will play Shen in the semis

BETHLEHEM — The No. 2 seed Eagles boys lacrosse team got by Guilderland 10-7 in first round of the Section II Class A tournament on Saturday, May, 19, and will take on No. 3 seed Shen on Tuesday, May 21.

Against Guilderland, Ben Reilly had three goals while Liam Ferris had two goals and two assists and Ben LaVigne had two goals. Jackson Carroll, Justin Barnes and Connor Carroll each had a goal for the Eagles.

For the Dutch, seeded No. 7, Nick Cordins and Danny Machiarella had three goals each while Mitchell Mackissack had a goal.

Patrick Kelty had 17 saves for Guilderland while Matt Stento had nine for Bethlehem.

Shen got to the semis by beating No. 6 seed CBA 15-6.
