BETHLEHEM – The Eagles won a Suburban Council, Gray Division, thriller in overtime on Friday, Jan. 19 by upsetting Saratoga 57-53.
Bethlehem’s Milly Kirby led all scorers with 20, including three, three pointers in the third quarter when Bethlehem outscored Toga, 15-5. Julianna Okoniewski had 16 for Bethlehem (5-4, 7-5) and Maggie Kirby had 10.
Caroline Wise had four points while Tessa Hughes and Ava LaClair had two each for the Eagles.
Standout Catherine “Dolly” Cairns had 18 for Saratoga (7-4, 10-5) and there were three Blue Streaks with eight: Briann Barringer, Kerry Flaherty and Kara Vamvalis.
Saratoga will host Guilderland and Bethlehem will travel to Niskayuna on Friday, Jan. 26.
