BETHLEHEM – The Lady Eagles softball team jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning against Saratoga on Friday, April 28, and that’s all they would need.
Hurler Aurora Legace allowed just one run on four hits as Bethlehem won the conference game at home 4-1.
Ashley Giles went two for three with an RBI and a run scored to lead the Bethlehem offense while Jenna Nimmer went two for four and scored twice.
Olivia Miranda, Kaitlyn Rarick and Sophia DeFrancesco each added a hit for the 4-4 Eagles.
Kayleigh Roeme went three inning for the Blue Streaks and allowed all four runs on five hits and Mckenzie Ebert allowed two hits over the remaining three.
Olivia Jones led the Saratoga offense, going two for three at the plate, and her teammate Danielle Priester went one for three with an RBI double.
