New York Giants training camp returns to the University at Albany July 27. Are you going to be there to see them?
The Giants failed to come to the region last year due to the NFL lockout, but now the defending Super Bowl champions will be spending three weeks in the area getting ready for the 2012 season. However, the Giants are only offering one public practice per day, since the new NFL collective bargaining agreement ended two-a-day practices.
The other complicating factor is the time that the Giants will be practicing. Instead of a morning or a late afternoon/early evening practice, they will be outside from 1 to 3:30 p.m. With only 14 practice days scheduled, fans may have to sacrifice a day of work in order to see their favorite team up close.
What we want to know in this week’s poll question is how many times do you think you can get to UAlbany to see the Giants. Voting will remain open until midnight Monday.
