Congratulations to Assembly Member Patricia Fahy on her re-election. Fahy has been a champion on environmental issues and has been a leader in calling for action on legislative priorities, including the Child Safe Products Act, which would help get dangerous chemicals out of children’s toys and products.
There is a full docket of environmental legislation waiting for action next year. We are going to need every green champion to advance critical initiatives such as lifting barriers to clean energy, fighting climate change, strengthening the Environmental Protection Fund and fully funding the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Capital Plan.
As a founding member of the New York State Caucus for Environmental Legislators, Fahy will play a key role in setting New York’s environmental agenda next year.
Her leadership will be essential for developing our clean energy economy and protecting our environment for future generations. We look forward to rolling up our sleeves with Assembly Member Patricia Fahy and getting the job done.
