Last night, Friday January 20, I had the pleasure of attending the Voorheesville Elementary School “Make-a-Wish Talent Show” at the district middle school. For over two hours the standing room only crowd was treated to a parade of wonderful young singers, pianists, gymnasts, Marshall arts experts, dancers, hula hoopers, instrumentalists, story tellers, and more.
The variety of talent was amazing with more than 100 kids and 40 separate acts. It was more than evident that Voorheesville has an abundance of school spirit as well as talented students. It also speaks very highly of Principal Reardon, his staff, and volunteers who were able to organize this massive event and get so many people involved at so many levels. It was truly an inspiring evening seeing so many hard-working and enthusiastic kids eager to get up on the stage and share their unique talents. Go Voorheesville!
