Editor, The Spotlight:
This fall, when I go to cast my ballot for Ballston Town Supervisor and Town Council, I am going to be thinking about which candidates will deliver on their promise to make Ballston a better place to live, work and raise a family. That will be the criteria on which I base my vote — candidates that are genuinely interested in moving our Town forward and who will bring integrity to their positions in Town government.
Judging by these standards, I will be casting my vote for Pete Connors for Ballston Town Supervisor and Tim Szczepaniak and Bill Goslin for Town Council — energetic candidates who are ready for the job. Pete Connors, a true patriot and a trusted friend, will bring an honest change to our Supervisor’s office. Tim Szczepaniak has pledged to continue to help lead our Town forward through thoughtful consideration of policies pertinent to growth, development and preserving what’s special about our Town. Bill Goslin is likewise an excellent candidate who has demonstrated a willingness to listen to both sides of an issue and find common ground, an attribute too often overlooked.
These candidates have expressed a sincere willingness to get involved in protecting Ballston’s future while honoring our past. These are candidates whose kindness and upstanding character I am glad for my children to see. Please join me in supporting Pete Connors, Tim Szczepaniak and Bill Goslin on Election Day this November.
