Make a unique Valentine’s Day card for a special person with this week’s Take and Make. We’ll provide all you need to create a heart-felt collage and you provide the creativity. Pick up your kit starting at 9 am on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
Scandinavian Woven Hearts
Saturday, Feb. 12, at 2 p.m.
This paper heart basket is a traditional Scandinavian papercraft, normally used for hanging treats on the Christmas tree — but the baskets are also perfect for Valentine’s day. We’ll make ours from a book page (we’re the Library – of course we will!) and pretty scrapbooking paper. Hang your finished project as a garland or fill it with a few treats for your favorite Valentines. Registration is required, sign up today on the Library’s website under “Events.”
Let’s Get Saucy!
Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m.
Looking for some new recipes and a group to chat about cooking? Join us each month as we try a new sauce (and an accompanying recipe to serve the sauce with). In February we will make Fruit Coulis sauce. Get your recipes on Wednesday, February 9. Then, join us on Wednesday, February 16 at 7 pm on Zoom to talk about how it turned out! Registration is required, sign up today on the Library’s website under “Events.”
Juice And Jammies
After hours at the Library, Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m.
Pop the kids in their jammies and head to the Library.
