Local artist Diane Wozniak will be holding a reception in the community room, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 2. Stop by to meet the artist, enjoy some light refreshments and meander through the gallery to enjoy Diane’s work.

Registering for programs helps us to determine supply needs. Unless otherwise indicated, registration is requested for all programs. You can register in person, by phone at (518) 765-2791 or using our online calendar at http://voorheesvillelibrary.org/calendar.asp.

Getting Started: Using Computers

This class is intended for new and infrequent computer users. We’ll touch on the mouse and keyboard before moving on to the basics of launching and interacting with programs.

Participants can bring their own devices, or use one of the Library’s laptops. Classes will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5 and at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6. Please register for one class only as space is very limited.

Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a calming, stress-relieving yoga class that stretches and strengthens the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Gentle yoga is recommended for all levels looking for a soothing, relaxing, and restorative experience! Please bring a mat and water bottle. Please register for this 1 p.m. class on Saturday, June 9.

Second
Sunday Films

Join us at 2 p.m. Sunday June 10 “when a group of gay and lesbian activists begin to raise money to help families affected by the British miners’ strike in 1984, they initially face resistance but when they give their donations directly to a small village in Wales, a surprising alliance forms.” (IMDB) Rated R, 119 min. Light refreshments will be served.
