A Summer Reading Program — For Adults.
Mark your calendars and start compiling your must-read list.
The annual Summer Reading Program is coming this July and August with a theme of “Libraries Rock!” – and this year, for the first time, adults are invited too.
We’ll be dancing, listening, creating, jamming, and learning our way through seven fun weeks of activities and happenings just for adults – and competing with friends to see who can read the most books and articles in a friendly literary race to the finish.
Who will win the biggest prizes at our end-of- the-summer Readers’ Bash and Awards Ceremony? You’ll have to join us on Friday, August 24 at 6 p.m. to find out.
Registration for the Adult Summer Reading Program begins Tuesday, June 19 at the Information Desk, or stop by our booth at the Youth Kickoff on June 26.

The results of the Times Union’s Best of the Capital Region 2018 are in and we are so excited to say the William K. Sanford Town Library has been voted the best library.
We are honored to win this award again. And, Colonie was also voted best suburb. Thank you to everyone who voted.
