Editor, The Spotlight
The Bethlehem Lions Club held its 31st Annual Christmas Tree Sale in December. The Tree Sale is our major fundraiser each year and provides funds for the many Lions projects which support the community. These projects include two annual scholarships for graduating seniors, the purchase of eyeglasses and hearing aids for those in need, the File of Life, Little League sponsorship, cooperating projects with Bethlehem Senior Services, and support of many other organizations.
The success of the sale each year is due to our many loyal customers and organizations in the community which provide special support. Special thanks are due to: 3D Rigging and Construction who provide the sale site on Route 9W each year; The Spotlight for the article on Christmas trees; the Town of Bethlehem Highway Department for providing fencing; Our Towne Bethlehem magazine for advertising; and Curtis Lumber, Delmar, for providing wooden pallets used for tree stands. A huge thank you to the employees of 3D Rigging and Construction who unloaded the trees on a cold November morning.
We sincerely appreciate the support of everyone who made this sale a great success!
Thank you,
Daniel J. Ryan
