Happy New Year!
The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 1.
Yarn Drop
Is your yarn stash overflowing? With many new craft and arts programs on the way, the library can put all those unused skeins you’ve accumulated to good use. For one day only, Saturday, Jan. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., we will be accepting donations of clean yarn in good condition in our Activity Room.
Donation Guidelines: Bring us any color yarn, in any type of fiber – we’re looking for a wide selection. Donations must be either wound into balls or dropped off in full skeins – please no yarn barf or tangles.
In addition to yarn, you may also donate knitting needles, crochet hooks, felting needles, blunt tip needles, embroidery hoops and floss, felt sheets, beads, buttons, and adult crafting scissors.
Heavy duty plastic storage tubs with lids are also welcome. No other craft supplies or items will be accepted. Any supplies in good condition the library cannot use will be donated to Goodwill, and items in poor condition will be thrown away, so please make your selections accordingly.
