What television series are you currently watching?

Hell on Wheels.

What is the most recent movie you’ve seen?

Unbroken.

Favorite music or musician?

I listen to a wide spectrum of music that represents feel good memories from different phases of my life from Van Morrison and Roxy Music, to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. I also love Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Adele. My favorite song, for the last two years that I play repeatedly, much to the displeasure of my two teenage boys, is the “Happy” song by Farrell. I love that song it pumps me up and makes me happy! I could listen to it all day over and over.

What are you reading right now and would you recommend it?

I just finished “All the Light You Cannot See.” It is a beautiful book about a young blind French girl who survived the War. My children gave me Donald Trump’s book for Christmas but I haven’t started it yet. So far I’ve just glanced at the pictures. I also am reading the “Accidental Empress” by Alison Pataki. I liked her book the “Traitor’s Wife” so I’m now reading her next one. I also adore Senator Gillibrand’s book “Off the Sidelines” and would highly recommend it. I am in several pictures and it is now out in paperback. She is very inspirational to me and has been one of my closest friends since childhood.

Can you share a favorite local memory?

I loved waterskiing as a kid on the Mohawk River, it was really a thrill to waterski under the Thaddeus Koszciusko bridge.

What would you consider an ideal vacation?

I am a winter sports enthusiast and have been alpine skiing since I was 5. My ideal vacation would be skiing with my boys, my husband, my brother and his family in Switzerland.

If you could have dinner with any human who has ever lived, who would it be and why?

Winston Churchill. He got a lot of business done at dinner, was entertaining and liked to talk policy.
