What are you listening to these days?
I have kind of an eclectic mix, Mumford and Sons, to Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry, Maroon 5. Kind of a wide range.
What are you reading?
I just finished a book called “The Book of Speculation.” And I also have on my nightstand “No Ordinary Time.” It’s a book about Eleanor Roosevelt.
What are you watching on TV?
I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, but I will admit my family’s guilty pleasure right now is “American Ninja Warrior.”
What was the last movie you saw?
“Inside Out” with my daughter and her friend.
One person living or dead you would like to meet and why?
I would like to met Eleanor Roosevelt. I’ve been reading her biography, and she’s an amazing woman who did some really bold things for her time. I find a lot of her words and advice ring true today. She was just a wise woman who I think was ahead of her time.
Describe your dream vacation.
My dream vacation would be going to, I’d say Australia and New Zealand. They have gorgeous countryside, just really beautiful scenery. They offer beaches if you want to relax, then there’s also a lot of great outdoor activities. You kind of get the best of both worlds.
What is your favorite hobby?
My kids are my hobby right now, but with this school year I’m looking forward to get back into yoga and hopefully start running.
Describe what your last meal would be.
My last meal would be my mom’s homemade stuffed tomatoes served over very large bed of egg noodles.
Favorite local memory?
My favorite local memory is doing the Troy Turkey Trot. My husband and I, we used to do it for many years. We’ve had a few years off. We’re look forward to getting back into the tradition this fall and introducing our children into it.
What three things would you bring with you to a desert island?
I would bring music, my family and lots of sunscreen, because we’re very fair.
