What type of music do you listen to?
Dave Matthews Band, U2, Jack Johnson … alternative (rock), I guess.
What are your favorite TV shows?
I am a sucker for “Storage Wars,” and I’m currently watching SportsCenter. I won’t lie – I have that on all the time. I like “Modern Family,” too.
What books are you reading?
I read quite a bit. I read “Unbroken,” “Gone Girl” … and then most recently, “The Other Wes Moore.”
What was the last movie you saw in the theater?
“Mission Impossible” five or six – whatever one just came out. I really like historical fiction, so I really liked “Gladiator” and the Mel Gibson one, “Braveheart.”
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Fishing, soccer … I love to golf. I like paddle tennis, too. I’m not supposed to do any of that, but I do it anyway. With my knees, I shouldn’t be running.
Who is one person, dead or alive, you would want to meet and why?
Martin Luther King, Jr. Obviously, his record speaks for itself, but it would be great to meet someone who stood up for what he believed in and didn’t walk away when it would have been easy to walk away.
What is you favorite local memory?
My nephew got married on Friday night (Aug. 21) over at Revolution Hall in Troy.
What would your last meal be?
It’s gotta be lobster or surf and turf with three dozen oysters.
What three things would you need on a deserted island?
I need a soccer ball, I would need a blanket and I’d need a fishing pole.
Tell us something that would surprise people.
I’m an ordained minister, and I presided over my nephew’s wedding.
