What have you been listening to lately?
I listen to mostly classical music, when I have time – mostly Chopin lately. I have two students competing in September who will be playing Chopin, so I’ll listen to their pieces over and over to help with their instruction. Other than that I only have six CDs in my car.
What have you been reading?
I’m very busy and my English isn’t that good, so I don’t read too, too much. When I have time I read health magazines and cookbooks, and sometimes popular magazines.
What is your favorite show on TV?
Again, I don’t have much time, but I watch the news when I can and sometimes in the late evenings I’ll watch old Russian movies.
What was the last movie you saw?
I took my granddaughter to see Cinderalla at Crossgates recently. She really liked it!
Could you describe what your dream vacation would be?
I would like to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower. This is actually my dream. I’ve been to lots of countries, but never France. This will probably be my next trip.
What are some of your hobbies?
I like to spend my free time with my family. I also play the piano very often. I’ve been playing all my life. I also like sewing and cooking. These are all of my favorite things.
What would your last meal be?
Tea, and cake and chocolate. I drink a lot of tea.
Who is the one person (dead or alive) that you would most like to meet?
There’s one world famous pianist, Denis Matsui. He’s a young Russian guy, one of the best in the world right now. I’ve seen many of his concerts so I would really like to meet him.
