I’ve been listening to a lot of audiobooks. My summer goal is to listen the entire Armand Gamache series by Louise Penny. I’m currently reading “All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr for a book club and “Dinner with Buddha” by Roland Merullo. `Flea Market Flip,` `Barefoot Contessa` and `Chopped` are favorites!
The last movie I saw in a theater was ….. I can’t remember! It’s been a couple of years. I did watch “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” on television recently.
My great-grandmother, Emma Cheavalley. She was a businesswoman in Albany in the early 1900s. I’d really like to talk with her about her life and family.
My dream vacation is either spending time in a cabin by a lake with no phones OR traveling to southern Italy. I have more hobbies than I can count. Right now, I am into quilting and gardening.
Really, really, really good macaroni and cheese!
When I was little my grandmother lived on Austain Avenue in Albany. Her house was right next door to what is now the Montessori Magnet School. In the early ‘70s it had a traditional school playground. I would play there with my brother, sister and cousins for hours. We were experts at using wax paper on the slide to speed it up!
My dream job was to be an elementary school librarian. For some reason I never pursued it.What are you listening to these days?
