What are you listening to these days? (music, podcast or audio book)
I listen to the Elvis Duran Show in the Morning on my way to work. I also like Maroon Five, Cold Play, New Order. Lots of popular music.
Reading?
I read stuff about my thyroid disease. I’m reading “Thyroid Madness” right now. It’s about hypothyroidism. I like to read up to find out more about the condition and what can help.
Watching on TV?
I DVR a lot of shows since I don’t have the time to watch them live. I watch Blue Bloods, House of Cards, Veep, and Scandal.
What was the last movie you saw and why?
I don’t go to the movies a lot. The first I saw recently was “The Spongebob Movie.” I went with my niece and nephew who are 7 and 5. I also went to see “Old Fashioned” with my mother. We attend St. Stephan’s and a parishioner is in the movie. It was like a rebuttal to “50 Shades of Gray” as an old-fashioned romance.
One person living or dead you would like to meet and why?
Ronald Reagan because I think he was an amazing president and I would love to get his advice.
Describe your dream vacation.
I would love to go to Australia and hold a Koala bear.
What is your favorite hobby?
I like to swim. When it warms up I like to go to the pool and swim laps, or go to the Y. I just can’t go in winter because it’s too cold.
Describe what your last meal would be?
The Hidden Cafe. The hummus and the chicken kabobs.
Favorite local memory?
Playing on the Bethlehem Tomboys softball league. I went to Albany Academy for Girls and they didn’t have a team. My father sponsored the team, and it was great getting to know the local girls and being apart of a team in Delmar. I have our team photo at work.
What three things would you bring with you to a desert island?
My iPod so I could listen to music, clothes and food and water.
