What type of music do you listen to?
A lot of New Orleans-type of music. Also, a lot of singer-songwriter stuff and a lot of rock stuff … prog rock.
What are you watching on TV?
Now, I watch a lot of the History Channel when they have something good on. Also, I watch a lot of movie channels like HBO and Showtime … “Game of Thrones” and “Shameless.” I like the more cinematic-style shows.
What books are you reading?
A lot of non-fiction and biography, as well as a lot of business books and what’s going on in the industry in general. Right now, I’m reading “Positioning: The Battle For Your Mind” by Al Reis and Jack Trout.
What was the last movie you saw in the theater?
The last movies I saw were “Night at the Museum 3” and “Annie.” I took my 5-year-old to the movies, so that’s what I saw.
What are your favorite hobbies?
It’s hard to look at music as a hobby (being the drummer for OWL), but playing music and working in the (recording) studio. Also, I work out a lot, and I do a lot of handyman work at the house.
What person, dead or alive, would you like to meet and why?
One would be my father because he died when I was at a very young age … I just never had those man-to-man, adult conversations with him. And another would be John Bonham. I’d love to hear him tell stories … about what he went through (as the drummer for Led Zeppelin) in the music industry.
What would be your dream vacation?
It would be on a trek through Italy. It would be a long trek, going from city to city. I’d also like to spend some time in Ireland, again going from city to city.
What would your last meal be?
A good steak, fresh green vegetables and a good glass of scotch.
What is your favorite local memory?
The birth of my children.
If you could bring three items to a deserted island, what would they be?
Music, my wife and landscaping so there would be a sustainable supply of food.
